Anxiously Waiting

We are anxiously awaiting news of our referral. We have heard rumors that the referrals (a picture of our baby with information of where she is, how old, how big, etc.) are going to be here before Christmas. We will have to receive them Thursday or Friday in order for that to happen since the weekend begins with the 23rd of Dec. We are ready!

We have updated our fingerprints, updated our homestudy, and re-filed for our I-600A and received our I-171H on November 27th. It is great to have that behind us. It went much faster this time around. We hated to have to pay another $1200, but our paperwork expires Jan. 25, 2007. It looks like we will travel in February so re-doing everything was a necessity.

Today, Dec. 21, marks day 465 since our paperwork was logged in at the Chinese Center of Adoption Affairs in Beijing, China. We never dreamed that we would have to wait so long to see our little girl's precious face. We are thrilled to be able to share this exciting time with our family and friends. Thank you for all of the love, support, and prayers that have been sent our way.
