2-05 - Dinner with Steve confirming his desire to adopt
4-9-05 - Adoption Workshop
4-10-05 - Confirmation from God to adopt
4-11-05-Applied for Adoption
4-30-05-Mailed in I-600A to INS
6-1-05 - Last home study
6-25-05 - Fingerprinting at INS
6-27-05 - Mailed completed home study to INS
7-25-05 - INS Approved via e-mail
8-3-05 - Received I-171H, went to Sec. of State
8-4-05 - Mailed completed dossier to Houston-Chinese Embassy
8-11-05 - Received dossier back, made copies & mailed to our agency
8-12-05 - Confirmation that our agency received our dossier
8-19-05 - We are DTC (dossier to China)!
9-12-05 - We have our LID (log in date)
10-14-05 - Received the "brown envelope" from the American Embassy in Guangzhou
3-23-06 - September dossiers moved to Room I (Review Room)
4-25-06 - September dossiers moved to Room II (Matching Room)
8-24-06 - Fingerprinted again at the INS in OKC
10-9-06 - Homestudy visit
11-3-06 - Homestudy completed
11-6-06 - Mailed I-600A & homestudy to USCIS in Dallas
11-13-06 - I-600A returned - needed to be a cashier's check and add fingerprinting fee
11-14-06 - I-600A mailed off again
11-27-06 - Received our I-171H---again!
11-30-06 - Referrals came out. They covered dossiers logged in by 9/8/05. We missed it by 4 days.
1-3-07 - We received our referral!!! Yea!
1-4-07 - Received the package and overnighted confirmation papers to agency.
1-8-07 - CHI sent our group's confirmation letters to CCAA.
2-2-07 - CHI received our group's Travel Approvals & faxed request for CA from US Embassy.
2-6-07 - We have our Consulate Appointment confirmed for 3/8/07.
2-22-07 - Depart for China!
2-25-07 - Receive Gabriella - Gotcha Day!
